Hi friends, my name is Sam and I’m so excited you are here! I am a certified Holistic Nutrition and Health Coach and hold the Licensed Health & Nutrition Counsellor™ (LHNC™) designation through the Health Coach Alliance and am also a Certified Functional Nutrition Coach (CFNC). I help both individuals and their families feel their best by implementing simple, effective, and sustainable nutrition and lifestyle habits that can be maintained for the long-term.

On a personal note, ​I am a mama to two of the sweetest little kids, married to my best friend and a born and raised Calgarian. I have spent more than a decade holding various positions at corporations (including Investor Relations, Business Intelligence, Account Management - and was even a Realtor for a hot minute!) but I never felt the passion for what I was doing until I started learning more about nutrition and wellness, and dreaming of how I could use my knowledge to help others the same way that I helped myself. I have seen first hand how simple lifestyle changes can significantly impact your day to day life. There were so many years that I felt tired, exhausted and burned out and just thought it was “normal”, and it wasn’t until I had my two kids that I really focused on prioritizing my own health and started to see the difference in how I looked and felt. Having kids also put things into very sharp perspective for me - I wanted to know how to nourish not only myself, but my family as well.

My approach to health and nutrition is not complicated, rigid or difficult. I don’t believe in restricting diets or quick fixes because they are not sustainable and they simply don’t work. I believe in getting back to the basics by eating whole foods, cooking in our kitchens, getting outside, sleeping well and moving our bodies (the simple but most effective strategies). I believe everyone has the right to be healthy and feel their best, and I would be honoured to work with you on that journey.

The wellness plan that Sam developed for me was thorough and well laid out.
